Description

Kit containing all necessary vacuum components required to retrofit a KDT-6 distillation system with a turbomolecular (turbo) pump bypass. During cleaning or distillations where low vacuum is not required, to protect the turbomolecular pump, it should be removed from the system. The turbo bypass allows the operator to remove the turbo pump from the system simply by closing one valve and opening another rather than physically removing the turbomolecular pump and reconfiguring the system.
